Description: 1952 to 54. This was an old one back in the days when Tahoe had many little clubs. Until recently only 2 were known. An exact population of 26 are now known. A lady in California had these chips for years. She carried them around to many casinos & no one knew anything. The best guess was they were phoney! A Paris name just didn't fit for a Nevada gambling joint. Nothing was known until she met us. She found out she had some of the rarest most coveted chips from Lake Tahoe. She also found out her stack of chips, these $100's & some more common $5's were worth a small fortune. Luckily all were like new except for some minor scratches from being rubbed against each other a few times in the last nearly 50 years. Grade 90 as there is a trace of use on the edges. |

Description: 1965 to 1966. These are the only chips marked with this designation. A must have for the type set collector. This chip is a shinning beauty. Strong red color & the shiny hat & canes mold give this chip great eye appeal. Condition is super, with sharp edges & minimal edge dings. Also has inlay bubbles- the slight raising of the inlay from the weight inside the chip. This one is a bit noticeable but not distracting. Due to this we give it a 85 point grade. Approx. 30 known. |
