California Club-opened 1951. The California Club featured the famous neon sign depicting a moving bear atop the building. For a small club, the California had a decent-sized casino. It was eventually bought by Golden Nugget. During its operation, the California had a number of different chips; the one pictured here may be from the 5th issue. It likely dates to the 1950s. Only two (2) are known to exist.
