Caesars Palace- Opened August 1966. All hail Caesar!! The resort was named 'Caesars' instead of the more correct "Caesar's" because the owner, Jay Sarno, felt that the apostrophe in "Caesar's" indicated the possessive. Meaning that it was a place of only one Caesar, not a place to come and feel like a Caesar which is what Sarno really wanted. The chip pictured here is from what we now believe to be the second issue. Only 2 or 3 known. |
